Oscar audiences and Academy Award-winning presenter Shelley Winters were startled when a strange man ran on stage and took over the mic.  It turned out to be Stan Berman, Brooklyn cabbie by day, professional gatecrasher by night, who was already famous for crashing parties for JFK and astronaut John Glenn.
